Our club has around 200 active members representing a wide range of ability and fitness. Ages range from four to sixty-something with about a quarter being under 18, and about a third of us female.
If you've been on a ride with us and you think we're the right club for you, please join up! (In fact, we insist that all those who regularly join our club rides become members for everyone's protection.) Annual membership only costs £16 for adults or £6 for under-16s - simply sign up through the British Cycling website. While you're there, we strongly suggest that you join British Cycling too for the various benefits, particularly third party insurance cover.
Wadebridge Coasters CC members enjoy 10% OFF everything at WADEBRIDGE BIKE SHOP plus other perks such as preferential invites to demo days and products! |
In common with most cycling clubs, all club memberships run from 1st November to 31st October each year. However with Coronavirus making for difficult times, the committee has looked carefully at the club’s finances and decided that this year's Coasters membership will now be extended to 31st October 2021. This means that anyone who has already joined, and anyone who joins/rejoins, will get membership for the remainder of this year, and will not have to pay again until November 2021.
Social Media
If you want to ride with us and you're a Strava user, please feel free to join one of our Strava clubs: We have one for friends near and far, and another that's 'members only'.

Social events
The Coasters are a very friendly bunch. As well as regular club ride visits to cafes and pubs, we love getting together for events such as our annual dinner, when we celebrate our club and hand out various awards.

Community events
Wadebridge Coasters CC is keen to promote cycling in our local community by supporting local events. So you may have come across us running activities at the annual Cycling Saturday at the showground; or seen our 'Tour de Wadebridge' float at the Wadebridge Carnival; or witnessed our amazing 100 foot long pedal-powered caterpillar at the Wadebridge BikeLights Festival! (And you may even have seen us on ITV's 'Doc Martin' too...)
