Joining the Wadebridge Coasters Cycling Club is about far more than simply riding a bike — it’s about becoming part of a welcoming community of people who share a passion for cycling, fitness, adventure, and camaraderie. Whether you are a complete beginner looking to build confidence on the road or an experienced rider seeking challenging routes and strong group rides, the club offers a supportive environment where everyone can improve and enjoy the sport together. Riding with a club also brings practical benefits: safer group riding skills, motivation to ride regularly, organised routes, local cycling knowledge, and the encouragement that comes from tackling hills, headwinds, and suspiciously optimistic café-stop distances alongside others. Most importantly, the Wadebridge Coasters are built on friendship, respect, and a shared love of two wheels — with just enough coffee and cake to make even the toughest ride seem like an excellent idea afterward.

If you've been on a ride with us and you think we're the right club for you, please join up! Annual membership only costs £16 for adults or £6 for under-16s - simply sign up through the British Cycling website. In common with most cycling clubs, all club memberships run from 1st November to 31st October each year. While you're there, we strongly suggest that you join British Cycling too for the various benefits, particularly third party insurance cover.

Membership Benefits
As an official Coaster you will have access to everything we have to offer:
- Up to 9 organised club rides per week, the only limit being your legs.
- Riding with like minded individuals in a safe environment.
- Opportunity to purchase custom cycling kit as well as a range of casual clothing.
- Access to our Facebook members page, a forum for all things bike related (and banter).
- Access to members only Strava group.
- 10% Discount at Wadebridge Bike Shop, Launceston Cycles, Ocean Cycles and Clive Mitchell Cycles.
- Regular social events such as our annual awards evening and summer BBQ.
- Take part in community events like the carnival and bike lights.
- WCCC is affiliated to Cycling Time Trials, the national body for time trials, and our members are eligible to take part in any time trials and hill climbs organised by CTT member organisations.
