We want to encourage young people to love cycling from an early age and about a quarter of the Coasters are under 18. Of course it would be great to discover the next Lizzie Deignan or Geraint Thomas, but we're just happy to promote a healthy, sustainable lifestyle!
We offer a comprehensive range of activities designed to work with parents to help children develop as cyclists whatever their age and ability. Our groups are designed to provide a pathway to develop children of all ages, ability and maturity.
Please note that there are strict requirements for under 18s participating in each activity. Follow the links for details:

NB: Bikeability
Level 2 Bikeability is a requirement for many of our activities for secondary school children. However, please note that WCCC does not teach Bikeability (the government's national standard of cycle safety). It is usually delivered through primary schools, but if you require private training, we can recommend Cycle Training Cornwall.
Child protection
Wadebridge Coasters CC follows British Cycling's guidelines regarding child protection, some of which are reflected in the requirements for participation in different activities. Please contact Jayne Richards our Welfare Officer for further details or if you have any concerns.
