Six Days of Ghent

At Wadebridge Coaster Cycling Club, we love nothing more than a good eventure.
The trip to Ghent for the legendary Six Days of Ghent was another unforgettable adventure for the Wadebridge Coasters Cycling Club. Combining world-class track racing with the unique atmosphere of Belgian cycling culture, the weekend delivered everything from thrilling sprints and deafening crowd noise to excellent food, strong coffee, and the occasional strong Belgian beer that may have affected a few members’ recovery rides the following morning. Between exploring the historic city, soaking up the electric atmosphere inside the velodrome, and sharing countless laughs together, the trip perfectly reflected the club’s love of cycling both on and off the bike.
