Every cycling club has its traditions. Some revolve around hill climbs, or post-ride café debates about tyre pressures and questionable route choices. At Wadebridge Coasters Cycling Club, one event stands above the rest each year: our Annual Audax.
Part endurance ride, part social gathering, the Audax has become one of the highlights of the club calendar. Riders return year after year not only for the kilometres, but for the atmosphere, camaraderie, and unmistakable sense of achievement that comes from finishing a long-distance ride under your own steam. Whether you're a seasoned randonneur with a saddlebag full of brevet cards or tackling your first longer-distance challenge, the Wadebridge Coasters Audax offers a memorable day on two wheels.

To all the riders who turned up, tackled the route, supported one another, and brought the usual Audax spirit — thank you for being part of it. Whether you rode every kilometre with ease or negotiated a few “character-building” hills along the way, we hope you enjoyed the day and made it home with tired legs and happy memories.
An especially big thank you goes to all the volunteers and helpers behind the scenes. From route planning and sign-on, to catering, controls, tea-making, cake-slicing, parking marshalling, and clearing up at the end — events like this simply would not happen without your time, effort, and generosity. We’re incredibly grateful for the support, enthusiasm, and community spirit that makes the Wadebridge Coasters Audax such a special event each year.
