Coasters Kids Coaching sessions offers sports cycle coaching in a traffic-free environment and provide a fantastic foundation for a lifetime of cycling. For under 12s, they are much more straightforward for us to run than group rides. Most importantly, coaching is great fun and the kids absolutely love it!

Sprockets, Chainrings & Wheels (Primary school)
Our coaching sessions are the main activities we run for these groups (see this term's programme). Skills taught include braking, cornering, use of gears, climbing, descending, group riding, etc. All three groups normally meet on Saturdays at 11am at St Breock School for one hour. Parents are very welcome to stay to spectate - and perhaps help out.
COASTERS ACADEMY (secondary school)
We do not currently run coaching sessions specifically for Coasters Academy (they go on rides instead). However, they are very welcome to join in with adult coaching sessions.
My daughter has completed her first term of Coasters Kids, her riding has improved no end thanks to the professional coaching instead of picking up my bad habits! It's refreshing to see a course that isn't just about cycling proficiency but introducing the kids to all the different forms of competition they can get involved in. She can't wait for the mud in cyclocross! (John Crossley)

If you have any questions, please contact Jennie Brown. My children are much more confident cyclists and so many more skills and techniques to learn rather than just riding a bike! (Katherine Callis) |
