Beginners and Improvers Rides

The beginners rides are held throughout the Spring and Summer months, the improvers rides are all year round.  Both the beginners and improvers ride start at Lidl (Eddystone Road, Wadebridge) at 19:00 on Friday evenings.

The group rides are led by experienced group ride leaders who ensure nobody is left behind, providing a friendly atmosphere for learning skills like group riding etiquette and gear shifting.

​Worried about getting dropped on a group ride?

​Our policy is to never leave anyone behind, ensuring that riders of all experience levels are supported.
It’s OK to fall back on a group ride, particularly on a climb, and if this happens then one of the group will stay with you or the faster riders will sweep back and keep you company. The group will always wait at the top of the hill or the next junction. 

It is recommended to alert the ride leader if you are new or struggling with the pace, we are here to help you improve not leave you behind.
